“This painting centres on a single tree, its pale trunk illuminated against a veil of green, standing quietly within the soft wetlands of Victoria Park. The work draws attention to a moment of pause - where light, water, and foliage settle into balance, offering a sense of calm within an urban landscape. It becomes a reflection on care and continuity, inviting us to notice and protect the quiet spaces that sustain both place and spirit.”
