Victoria Park / Barrambin LGID Documents

In 2003, Urbis, on behalf of Brisbane City Council prepared an Environmental Assessment report and supporting technical documents for the Local Government Infrastructure Designation (LGID) which was sought by Brisbane City Council as a part of a park-wide planning designation for the Master Plan at Victoria Park / Barrambin.

These LGID documents were previously publicly published online at https://www.victoriaparklgid.com.au/, however in June 2025, these resources were suddenly taken offline.

Save Victoria Park has posted the original documents below to ensure that these remain in the public domain.

IMPORTANT: these documents WERE NOT CREATED in response to a proposed stadium in the park, they were written in response to the Master Plan, which sought to ‘re-wild’ the park and increase tree canopy cover from 10% to 60%.
